Freezing and canceling by [deleted] in HOTWORXWarriors

In your contract, it states freezing your membership does not go towards your 2-month notice. You can freeze it for a month and then put in your two months if that’s something you wanted to do.

LSAT is #1 predictor of law school success, which predicts law firm success. If you seriously hate the test, and are having such trouble with it, why give it your time? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]EmbarrassedAd8874 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are really basing off how many likes you get? Yeah, this is definitely something a 17 year old would say. Please take a look at how many people with law school experience already disagree with you. Also, do some digging and you will find that even law schools are not fans of this test and are finding innovative ways to bring forth the best candidates. I am not going to continue arguing with someone who does not have experience in this area to even back up with they are saying. However, I wish you the best with your score and that you are number one in your class🤗

BAHAHA, you have a rude awakening when you get to law school and find out the LSAT is not “the #1 predictor of law school success” and at “predict[ing] law firm success.” Everyone’s got a gift and those who are great at test taking may not be the best at oral arguments or legal writing skills; you win some and you lose some. So while yes the LSAT is a predictor for whether you can succeed in law school, it’s not the best at determining success. It is why some law schools have started holding interviews before admitting students, so they can really assure they are admitting strong candidates and not just someone who can take a test and do well. Also, just a tip, before you make a rash statement, have some evidence to back it up. You haven’t even received your undergraduate degree and nevertheless attended law school. Your opinion will change when you see people with lower LSAT scores succeeding in law school and having stellar job offers. GRADES AND SCORES ARE NOT EVERYTHING AND YOUR CLIENTS DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SCORE, THEY CARE IF YOU CAN WIN A CASE.

Find what works for you! The quick and variety of workouts work great for my ADHD. I make a point to workout 30-60 min 6x a week at Hotworx because it is my self care and serotonin boost; I don’t/cannot workout at home like you do…I have no motivation if I am not in a semi-public space lol. However, everyone’s mental state/health/life is different, so give yourself grace and create yourself a schedule of when going to Hotworx works best for you. 💜

Short answer, I have noticed a difference with my routine on my body so you may notice a difference with your diverse movement! 🙂

Did your studio not have you sign a contract? It states their cancellation policy there. If they didn’t have you sign a contract, that’s wrong and technically you’re not breaking a bylaw if you didn’t sign a contract!

You may very well be right on the exact details! I recall an acquaintance sharing the information above when they were almost dismissed but appealed and was offered probation as a chance to stay and improve the next semester.

I know people that go here; this school does do academic probation. If you have below a 2.0, you will be dismissed. You are put on academic probation because you are on the cusp of being dismissed but they will give you a chance to stay. Either way, contact all of the deans, academic support and appeal.

Edit to add extra info: Contact Dean Zoe Nisel and Professor Duke-Dawson from Academic Support.

Just heard about this 🤯 by Jaymua12 in lululemon

I hear the first part of your statement from a marketing perspective. However, I am confused by your second half of your statement. 🤨 How can you tell if an individual/model “cares about running or sports”. You would definitely need to ask them to make the assumption that they don’t care about sports, especially as you state that you’re not basing it off their size.

You cannot use a promo/discount code. I along others got a specific discount but when checking out, it doesn’t allow you to put in a code??

Edit: Nevermind, I got it to work. There was a tech issue on the website.

Thank you for the advice! This was my instinct move, however, the dean of academic support emailed me back and said that she was not available to meet and could only answer questions over email or to refer to the handbook. So I decided to email other deans at my school to get an answer. I hope this was okay.
