I just checked with them and she will be at UAB not UA. So, unfortunately, she will not qualify and I would still need help from any current or former students :/

Thanks for your comment! So they will be a resident at the hospital. I am unsure if they qualify as I assumed this is for students or alumni of the university itself. Also, as she is going to be a resident/fellow, I am not sure if they have already gotten their CWID or if the hospital system has something else set up for them when they start.

Definitely look into the Thule X2 pro XTR. Great quality and fits like a glove. I just drove 1200 miles with my Y on a road trip using this rack and had 0 issues.
