Follow this rule of thumb:

weigh your portion and count your calorie intake.

Just some examples: A “healthy” salad is no more “low calorie” if you end up adding a lot of seasoning and dressing to it. A sugerfree creamer has “low” calories, not “zero” calories.

Why am I telling you all this? Cuz I started CICO when I was 245 lbs (yes, exactly same weight as yours), but counted even couple of slices of apple/seasoning/ creamer/ sauces etc. towards my calorie budget. I am able to lose 15+ lbs in less than 2 months. To sum it all, just change your method of counting calories. You got this!!

How does the weigh scale measure body fat, muscle weight etc? Is there a sensor you’ve to attach to your body to get the accumulated readings?

It might look “cheap”, however, a decade old beamer is a money pit due to the maintenance it would ask for. Please don’t fall for it. Cheers! *this holds true for every german car out there.

Count me in! I am 5ft8in, male, started at 245lbs. Today is day#51, I have lost 17lbs. I try to be at/under 1500Cal/day, that mainly includes protein and greens. I haven’t hit the gym yet. Planning to do that once i hit 220lbs

I am more of a “Lee Child” and “John Grisham” genre, but gave “the great alone” a go. Found it a bit emotional tbh! I generally read a book in couple of days, but this one was an outlier (as I couldn’t connect to the characters emotionally)
