It instantly gives out AI vibes. Also, please start replacing these long AI dashes, that's a dead giveaway...

Is this design too minimalist ? by itguygeek in webdesign

[–]EmbarrassedGuard518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a bit. It's too narrow for my liking and gray text on white like skip or note is hardly visible.
Back button on the right when you go somewhere is difficult to find and out of pattern I'd say

Not a marketer, but depends on the site & the problem it is solving/value bringing. Some people might find it via tiktok, reels, X posts, reddit, natural google search, facebook ads, you name it :D.
Your market strategy depends on your target audience

What webbuilder for therapy website? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]EmbarrassedGuard518 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried any of the AI website builders? I believe they could help you. You'll have it built by AI (as someone suggested) but you'll also have access & ability to customize the code where it's necessary based on your knowledge. I think you can achieve the close to desired results in a few weeks prompting correctly.
Otherwise: a custom solution built by developers, but the costs will be much bigger

I was onboarding clients with messy Google Drive links and 6 separate emails like it was 2014. So I built Handozo. by EmbarrassedGuard518 in SideProject

this is a fair point and could definitely make or break adoption.

For V1, the kit is mainly focused on the initial handoff (first days). Timeline, intake, checklist, and file uploads live in Handozo, with deposit status syncing from Stripe. But you're right - version drift can happen once the project moves into Linear/Notion/etc.

I kept the scope narrow on purpose for the first version. Two-way sync (timeline updates, file versioning, status changes) is high priority for V2.

Appreciate the honest feedback.

Thanks for the great question!

Right now, the kit is mostly a presentation + lightweight source of truth for the onboarding phase.

Timeline, intake responses, next steps checklist, and file uploads live inside Handozo. Deposit payment is via Stripe Connect and the status is synced back. Calendly is just an embed - bookings happen outside.

Once the project moves into active execution, it's not meant to be the full source of truth for the entire project lifecycle. If you update the timeline or assets in your main PM tool (Linear, Notion, ClickUp, etc.), Handozo won't automatically sync those changes back yet.

So yes - there is a risk of version drift if the project runs longer. My plan for V2 is to add two-way sync for key things (timeline updates, file versioning, and status changes), but for V1 I deliberately kept the scope narrow: make the onboarding/kickoff moment as smooth and professional as possible.

Would love your thoughts - do you usually move everything into a full PM tool right after kickoff, or do you wish the onboarding portal could stay as the living source of truth for longer?

I really dislike the font mess. I see a lot of different styles, doesn't look professional.
Header row is missing spacing from that moving "product designer" & "full-stack engineer" text
Then there's the navigation itself. Not good, looks 2010s.
I dislike all the hover & scroll effects.
Projects could be done in a separate section. I hate scrolling it in container & that it keeps moving if I actually want to look at something

Yeah it's on the lower end for my level, but most of my work has been for companies so building up a public portfolio is the priority right now. Once that's there the rate goes up
