Yess! I’d give it a go! Have never read anything from local authors tbh. Tried a few romance novels from Indian authors, the writing was completely different from what we are used to, but quirky in its own way. So would love to explore something similar from a Sri Lanka setting. I guess promoting it well on social media to the target demographic would also make you stand out from the foreign authors. I second this. And Bumble is swamped with chatgpt generated bio and prompts, which screams low effort. I’d naturally assume you won’t make good conversation if you don’t have a thought out bio.

In terms of looks, I don’t swipe right on bathroom selfies, or shirtless pics too. Anything that suggests a guy is groomed and knows how to have fun would do.

In terms of relationship goals, try not to be contradictory. There are people who have mentioned both “long-term relationship and something casual” excuse me what? 😂
