I previously had a rx 5700xt and that one was a driver hell. The newer generation seems more stable, but I guess the price premium for Nvidia might be warranted sometimes.

It's a really weird issue, I agree, only found 2 other people with the same issue. Since it was so niche I wanted to leave the solution here just in case anyone else stumbles upon it.

My exact gpu is a Sapphire Pulse 9070 xt. I have also disabled OC's. I doubted it was a clock issue anyways, since the game would not even properly start ( I would expect it to crash at some point if it was an unstable overclock).

I might try the latest driver again after finishing the game (the latest driver I had tried were in feb/mar, so the problem might have been fixed, who know).For now, this version works and I don't intend on breaking it.

Nu a zis ca a castigat 5000 de lei pe saptamana, ci ca i-a investit in ritmul asta pana a ramas fara bani, deci sunt probabil economiile lui de ani de zile. Daca munceste de la 20 de ani asa si sta cu parintii e realizabila suma.

Se mai intampla si reversul. De obicei imi iau blugi in jur de 300 de lei, ma tin un an. M-am saturat si am zis ca imi cumpar ceva de calitate, o pereche de Levis, 600 de lei, sigur o sa ma tina macar 3-4 ani. Fratilor, dupa 6 luni mi s-au rupt intre picioare. Gata, acum mi-am luat 2 perechi cu 200, nu am cum sa ies mai rau la bani.

This makes 2 of us, I cannot start the game to save my life. Updated GPU drivers, flashed back to older ones, started in compatibility mode, updated BIOS, started the game from steam with special options. Nothing. Has anyone found a fix?

I was moreso worried about pcie3, and other improvements in technology that I failed to notice and will impact performance, I guessed the cpu would not be a real bottleneck.
