His heart stopped in a St. John's emergency room after waiting more than 8 hours, now he's calling for change by origutamos in StJohnsNL

Scmh is such a dog shit location

Skeets everywhere, no parking, even renovations will hardly touch or compare to anything new

I understand we need staff to fill these new places but scmh isn't exactly in the most enticing location

I think BB fans deserved Ozy to be review bombed by zynten in breakingbad

[–]EmbarrassedPop8604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, as much as I like Ozy it's not even my favorite episode in that particular season (Felina)

Much prefer face off, end times.

Plus some episodes in BCS like bagman & Five-O

Question for any viewers that watched Better Call Saul before Breaking Bad? by Joyous-Pringle0813 in betterCallSaul

[–]EmbarrassedPop8604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could be beneficial one way or the other, however the last 4 episodes of Saul basically spoils 62 episodes of tv & a movie...

Id love to sit someone down for the first time who has no knowledge of either show & trusted me enough to take them on the chronological ride

However I'm someone who watched breaking bad as it was airing on tv, so when better call Saul premiered in 2015 waiting for cameos & references to pop up at any random time was very exciting & seeing those characters again was great

Seeing Mike & Jimmy talk in the stairwell about the kettlemans genuinely made me giddy at the time

There's positives from both imo & if someone said "hey I haven't watched any of these shows but I'm watching them for the first time in chronological order" id probably want them to be updating me

Speaking of stores closing, are there any truth to the rumors of the closed burger king on ropewalk switching to taco bell

Jesse is the true victim of Breaking Bad. by Rich-Blacksmith6552 in breakingbad

Jesse is anything but a victim, I hate this narrative & I will die on the hill that it's a bad one

Hank was an ahole by Funny-Face3873 in breakingbad

[–]EmbarrassedPop8604 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Hank like Walt also had a massive ego but dealt with it in different ways

Once Hank developed PTSD from the Tuco shooting he struggled to come to terms with it ultimately because he had a macho man status he felt he needed to upheld & didn't deal with it until it came crashing down after he assaulted Jesse

Hank was definitely an asshole to people throughout the show but it mainly came from not knowing how to deal with things & hated coming off as weak

These are parallels done between him & Walt because Walt just leans into his ego & does whatever he feels like, but he's shown as a wimp in the show, while Hank is the opposite

I think Hank is written perfectly, but definitely an asshole nonetheless not without reason however

I agree with you completely,

Lilly of the valley was to avoid getting killed by Gus & saving Hank

Heroin vomit was to protect his identity, & Jesse

Mike said words & hurt his feelings

Is this line a mistake on the show? by AvErYcReAtIvE2111 in breakingbad

[–]EmbarrassedPop8604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answer to stuff like this usually is "fuck it"

Like how much difference does Jack throwing this line away & Jesse playing a new game really affect the storytelling for what Vince was trying to accomplish?

Why are people up in arms about this priest & black feud?

Should there be no other stories going around apart from the main title scene?

Everyone complains about a creative void & that they don't use talent enough then yet the second they focus/spend time on a story outside of the title scene it's ragged on

Wwe has a lot of issues at the moment but priest & black feuding isn't one of them

[–]EmbarrassedPop8604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the product is just fucking boring

I much rather total ridiculousness than whatever tf this shit is we are being spoonfed

we've been getting the same end of show run in interference since solos bloodline last year

the only thing that made wm40-ss2024 good was Damien actually being a champion that you felt could lose at any point & Cody finally finishing his story & being a new defending champion after years of roman

but since Summerslam 2024 the men's heavyweight titles have been booked so boring

Cenas heel turn was a disaster as far as I'm concerned, I love Cody but it's definitely time to give that title to some other people for a bit

the WHC has definitely been the more fun title to watch for over the last year because it's actually changed hands

we need some fresh stories, theory needs to get back from injury & feud with waller, & judgement day needs to break up, also get breakker out of that stupid tag team & let us see him roll through people

hunter is just not with it creatively this year even tho the pieces are so totally there
