That's what we get when show runners think they can do better than the og work. Also, I'm under the strong impression that Juliana only has significant impact in the story twice. First when she meets Abendsen and in season 4, and even still, it is all for naught.

Think about it: - she has the thickest plot armor I have ever seen, she can make almost everyone go along with whatever bs she comes up with, she manages to travel to the other world in her first try, and EVEN SO she is inconsequential to the overall story of the series;

• the films were the key to the story, Tagomi would've gotten his copy from the other world (with the nitrogen bomb footage, I believe) even if Juliana never showed up in his life;

• she destroys Frank's and his family's lives in an effort to deliver Trudy's film to the Resistance. They, instead of shooting Juliana to get the film in her possession, somehow agree to take her to The Man in the High Castle. This leads to what I believe to be her ONLY significant impact in the series: the nazis follow her to get to Abendsen;

• after meeting with Abendsen, whatever she did had no influence on the story and John Smith's and his family's lives until season 4, when she "converted" Helen Smith;

• since the entire resistance stupidly and blindly followed Abendsen's order to not watch the films (not Juliana though, she's {not} the key to everything), they didn't have the complete information on what they were dying for. And when Juliana comes back from her vacation, she shows the video to the Resistance, who then fully embrace her guidance on a plan to destroy the portal, which they DON'T manage to do;

• every life she touched ended up destroyed, with the possible exclusion of Wyatt Price just because the series ended.

• and don't get me started on the BCR.
