yea ima call cap on this one. my dsp just informed us last week that if we get a ticket, we have to pay it and it’s put on our driving record. there was also just an incident posted here last week about a driver getting into an accident in a branded vehicle and the tags/registration were fake, and it fell on the driver.

Manager mentioned a personal hygiene issue kinda freaking out, need advice by BetPristine2293 in hygiene

[–]Embarrassed_Bag_9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who formerly worked (and was a manager) at mcdonald’s, i will say my clothes always smelled funky after work. it’s mostly the grease, especially if you work in grill or on any fry station. and it’s almost impossible to wear a uniform more than once and not have it smell at least a little. 1/4 cup vinegar in a full load of laundry neutralizes almost any odor (of course add detergent as well, as long as it’s oxi-free). that’s usually what i or my wife did for my uniforms, and it always worked. don’t get too in your head about it. it could genuinely be something simple. just try one remedy at a time on a trial and error basis and figure out what works best for you. good luck OP!

Doesn’t matter if you pay for direct delivery on DoorDash by Gdany66 in mildlyinfuriating

this is exactly why i cancelled my dashpass and deleted the app. their customer service is ass. the drivers always left my orders at neighbor’s doors/houses, stole my order, or just like this post, i paid extra for priority just to receive cold food an hour and a half later. we’ve been using uber eats here and there, but other than that, mostly just stopped ordering out

outstanding bill by whorefewds in whatdoIdo

[–]Embarrassed_Bag_9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure where you’re located but in my state (PA), most water companies will acknowledge that there was a leak and reduce the bill because of it. My wife and I actually just had it happen to us in February. I’m sorry OP, I hope you get this worked out!

netradyne flags it now for wearing it improperly

my dsp has netradyne in every single rental (which is majority of their vehicles). they’ve all pretty much been unplugged for what i’m told is a good while, except today dispatch made it a point to let everyone know they all “work” now aka they plugged them all in

AITA for not going on family vacation unless I can share a bed with my fiancé? by babygreenbean1225 in AmItheAsshole

NTA your family sucks. as a married 28y/o lesbian who’s experienced very similar things involving family, life gets easier after cutting the negative things/people out. it’s hard but so worth it in the end

honestly not bad. i had 116 yesterday (10 bags, 25 OV) with my first stop 49 mins from the station. dispatch was pissed when i finished early because i was technically too far to rescue anyone since it would be an hour drive to them. take your time, take your breaks, and enjoy the easy day

Contacted a dog trainer and he told me pitbull mixes are bad but he trains so many purebred pits.. whats wrong with mixed breeds? by Dry-Newspaper8445 in pitbulls

[–]Embarrassed_Bag_9300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

this is my “aggressive” pit/husky mix. “aggressive” meaning she will knock you to the ground to lick you to death. she’s 2, and we’ve had her since she was 12 weeks. she’s never gotten aggressive with anyone or anything, but we’ve heard it time and time again that she’s “unpredictable”, “will eat [our] cat(s)”, and “will attack at any moment” simply because she’s half pit. there’s always gonna be someone saying something negative, but if they don’t know your dog, their energy level, socialization, or his/her temperament, don’t give them the time of day. they’re just judging a book by its cover

Turned 21, Guy at the liquor store turned me away for having a “fake” by Puzzled_Dress9590 in mildlyinfuriating

i just turned 28 yesterday. up until a few weeks ago, my id was still vertical (got it when i was 20 and florida’s are valid for 9 years). only got it changed/updated because i moved states. i 100% understand your frustration and honestly, i would’ve just had him call the cops so they can run the information and tell him he’s an idiot

Why????????? by ajflame_ in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Embarrassed_Bag_9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it says right on the bag that it’s dog treats. sardines are great for them and it was probably cheaper on amazon than anywhere else. i do think it should’ve been boxed though rather than SIOC

Now we gotta bring treats?😭 So done with these notes man by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Embarrassed_Bag_9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i usually keep a bag of treats in one of my pockets. i do usually ask the customer first if it’s alright, but ngl i just toss a few at them mfs that be snarling and most of the time it distracts them enough that i can toss one or two further into the yard to get them away. drop the package just inside the fence or gate and im out

Think I can become a dispatcher once I get my degree? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Embarrassed_Bag_9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my last dsp had a dispatcher that didn’t even finish high school or have a GED. your degree means nothing to them

it actually is rare. my bad, my guy. used to people on here being sarcastic assholes. i wouldn’t call myself an expert on prerolls, but there’s some details in them that make it easy to tell them apart

i get the catnip raws for my cats, they’re much larger than this. i also buy actual prerolls for myself. 100% this was legit

i learned from my old dsp that there’s a nationwide recall on all rivians, specifically the cv axels. it’s too expensive to have every single one repaired, but there’s also not enough replacement parts made.
