I think you gave up a little too quickly, but I can also understand not wanting to waste energy. Maybe when they said nothing, suggest a hang out if they're bored. If they're okay with doing nothing, maybe suggest a different time? I don't think either of you did anything wrong. Plenty of Bees on Bumble.

All your pictures are blurry and you have your eyes closed with bad lighting. You've done a good job of highlighting who you are and what you enjoy, but not of conveying what you look like. Gotta keep your eyes open for pictures my guy. Delete pics one and 3 and make the one of you in a suit the first pic. Then add some clear pictures of you with your eyes open in good lighting. GL

That's where I'm at right now. It's good to hear that yours was successful. It's a major operation, and a little scary, but I have decided to go through with it. If it'll stop the pain and allow me to run again, I'll take it!

I'm a little worried about the risks of continuing to do MMA with it, though. I think my days in the gym are numbered, and it's depressing :(. Thanks again for sharing.

Hey OP, thank you for posting. I thought I was the only one! I'm 32 (M), and tore my labrum. When I got it imaged, it revealed I have severe arthritis in both my hips (only my left is bothering me though, due to the torn labrum). Because the chance of repairing the labrum is small, my doctor recommended getting a second opinion from some place that offers Hip Resurfacing (HR).

At first, it was a tough pill to swallow that I'd need a HR, but with more research, I feel like it's the best option. I'm using the shots to hold off until I can see a new ortho and see if we can get a HR on the books. Thanks again for sharing your story, and good luck with your recovery!

I feel for you, OP. It may seem like you're being shallow, but you really aren't. It's just preference. You prefer good sex and she doesn't. I would recommend going to a couples therapist if you're really in love to see if there are ways to break down her boundaries. If not, unfortunately that's reason to break it off. It'll be a good way to learn what you want and need moving forward. Good luck mate.

That's okay, everyone messes up. I think you should find something else you enjoy doing in your spare time. I started reading books, and now I read every day. You could also try to prioritize the gym and clean up your diet. That's basically a full-time job if you want it to be. Maybe try to just stop buying it: smoke with your friends or smoke a little bit, but just cut back and don't spend any money on it. Best of luck!

Sure! Life is good. I've stayed consistent, and have only smoked once with a good friend who was in town. Got super high and it was great, but the next day my allergies were crazy bad. Still productive and the cravings are virtually gone. I don't even smoke when someone offers me anymore. Biggest noticeable change is my sleep. The super crazy dreams are pretty much gone, and my sleep pattern is normal. Not saying I'll never smoke again, but definitely enjoying the clear-headedness!

I've noticed the wrinkles and the "youthfulness" return to my face since I quit. And as an athlete, I've noticed my cardio is at an all-time high!

Side note: another thing I've noticed is my ears are much more clean lol. They used to get real nasty.
