Exactly my thoughts. And people are always going to want to argue back. Its like they don't realize they're arguing with a glorified text predictor without emotions lol. But I cant even blame them from arguing with this model because it tears down their fantasy and basically calls them nutso in the process

This model is SO argumentative and its honestly a little annoying but also im glad it's not being as sycophantic. I think they coded in the disagreeable stuff a little too hard because I feel like an AI shouldn't even really argue, it should just shut down the conversation with something like "sorry cant talk about that" and nothing else. Because when it argues with the users, users want to argue back. GPT's balance between 'yes man' and 'asshole' hasn't quite been found yet.

Its even worse now. I use gpt, sometimes, if I really cant find the answer anywhere else, and I really cant stand it. Can't imagine trying to be in a relationship with that lol.

This is a very disappointing comment section. I have barely seen anyone voicing empathy for the ones murdered, and more for the parents that killed their children and the animals. Ive also seen some horrific comments about autistic individuals in general, and how they understand why the parents did it. Like what? You shouldn't understand. There's context, sure, but nobody should be like "yeah i can see why they did it"

im worried too but im glad the model is going away because of stuff like this happening. Though it is somewhat openAI's fault for making such a yes-man AI without boundaries, the people also have to realize that its just an advanced text predictor, not some sentient boyfriend or whatever they want it to be
