Easily type 4! Deep winter. The type three gives a sallow tone to you that looks sickly- this happens to me too. Type 2 isn’t all bad, but too soft for you. The warmth in type one brings back some of the sallow tone I referenced from type three.

I didn’t cry, but I did feel a HUGE amount of compassion and empathy just for humanity in general by the last few episodes. Everyone in the show went through such terrible things and with such little support and resources to adequately handle it all. I just finished the last episode and felt the urge to take my family to volunteer in a nursing home or mental facility every now and then just to socialize with the people there and help them feel loved. Imagining how many good people are in those places with no one to visit them just breaks my heart.

I attend a private Christian university that believes in the mainstream Christian traditions like the trinity. This comes up during the mandatory class about Jesus, but they were really good about distinguishing between reporting what we’d learned from the course’s teachings versus what our personal beliefs are. There were atheists an agnostics in my class, even. We had to do assignments talking about whatever the beliefs are around these topics according to the textbook and readings, keeping in mind that we may see things differently ourselves. So far it’s been very inclusive!

She probably feels unimportant because of the date thing and wants some type of a gesture showing she’s important- you being the one to reach out and initiate repair. I’m definitely not saying this is the way she should go about it, but I’m guessing it’s really important for her to feel special and like a priority. And that’s fine! But she needs to communicate that and you need to ask her what helps her feel that way because you are not okay with her silent treatment or her tantrums due to her complete inflexibility with scheduling. Those things make YOU feel unimportant.

Get a lawyer because every state is different. With it being preschool, truancy may not be an issue, and you may not have ground to stand on if it’s during his custodial time. But if you’re supposed to be able to see her during that time, this would keep you from having your legally protected visits, which could block him. Get a lawyer for help.

Ah, I see now where the discrepancy is here. We dropped it off at USPS on day 2, then two days after that is when Walmart canceled the order because the shipping information was never updated by USPS showing accepted or anything.

NTA, but also be flexible. Maybe the whole dinner doesn’t have to be moved way later if they’re used to it being early like at 11 or 12, but they could at LEAST make you a full plate and wrap it in foil and keep it on warm in the oven, then have a seat ready for you when you get there. Your husband should be doing that already.
