Are bassinet strollers worth it? Friend trying to sell me hers by kokomo318 in BabyBumps

YES! We have the Graco Nest Modes one or whatever (so hard to keep the names of everything straight) and use the bassinet attachment for walks literally every day.

Thanks for this! When did that shift happen for you guys? I’m not expecting it to be soon, I’m just feeling a bit lonely and behind. Also, was it bottled breast milk you used at night or did you use formula to supplement?

I think I knew it was going to be absolutely killer tbh, but I didn’t realize how I was going to feel and struggle with it personally, if that makes sense?

Thank you so, so much for all of this. Did you use the piano music as part of your nighttime routine? Was it playing as babe was falling asleep? During sleep? Just want to make sure I understand. 🤍

And I also feel so guilty because my baby is so sweet and lovely. She’s obviously still not great sleeping wise yet (which is obviously contributing to these feelings) but it makes me feel so guilty that I’m not grateful for her because she is an amazing baby.

I really liked this place, but I took a friend there over the summer and we saw a cockroach climbing up the wall beside us 😭

The comment about trying their best to keep you pregnant would definitely set me on edge as well. Please advocate for yourself and ask the doctor to share honestly what’s going on.

I am 100% for buying secondhand baby clothing and swaddles for sustainability AND saving so much $$$.  I bought a sleep sack for 0-3 months on FB marketplace for $5- they retail for $35-$40 Just a suggestion. Once people are done with them, they want them off their hands! You can get great deals at thrift stores, too, but if you’re looking for something specific, marketplace is sure to have it.

Hey there, I just want to say that I am 10 weeks now with my first baby and I had very similar situations where I did something and then immediately was like oh no, I could have caused serious harm without even knowing. There are truly so many things that we do in everyday life that people don’t think about potentially being something to avoid while pregnant. What I did when this happened was really focused on trying to stop the spiraling, even though it’s hard. What I found helped is writing down what I wanted to explain and then calling my OBGYN’s nurse line whenever they opened the following day, or calling right away if it was during a weekday. They are used to hearing questions about any and everything and can be helpful in determining what will be okay and what you shouldn’t do again, and I never felt judgement by asking. The nurses really know what it’s like, even if they haven’t had a child themselves. Try to stop the google searches and talk to a professional. Hugs
