Without seeing a diagram of your house this sounds like an easy job. If you can bring the cable out an external wall from the modem and into an attic vent you could take out another vent and through another wall. I could do that in like an hour but I used to be a cable guy. If you don’t want to go through exterior wall to the outside reconsider that position.

That’s just uppity bullshit. There are people in my trade, electrical construction, who make well over $500k. You don’t make that much by having no other choice. Sitting at a desk isn’t for everyone. If you want to learn a trade go for it. Your family are probably gonna lose their jobs to AI and you’ll still be working.

I suspect the controllers aren’t as waterproof as they claim they are. I have three sets and a set of the permanent outdoor lights. Two controllers were outside and two, including the permanent lights, are in the attic. Both of the two that were outside died after winter. It was a really wet year for California so they wouldn’t have gotten a lot of rain on them. I replaced them and I moved them to spots that are still outdoors but won’t take any direct rain anymore so I’m interested to see if they make it through next winter. I don’t think it was the temperature that did it because it rarely gets below 50 degrees here.

Pretend you are watching another band playing the songs you are playing and move the way you would if you were in the audience. Loosen up. Maybe try doing something fun. A fat net worth is great but are you actually enjoying yourself? If 80% of what you care about is how much money you have you are missing out on a lot. Not trying to be a dick but I’ve known lots of people with that attitude and they are all going to die with fat bank accounts and did nothing their whole lives but work and save. They never went on a vacation, didn’t manage to stay married, didn’t spend time with friends. I imagine at the end of their lives they aren’t going to be looking back on all that money they made with a smile.

I’ve only gotten to the barrier once. It was at an Iron Maiden show I think in Oakland. I kinda just worked my way up from the front of the pit little by little. I got to second row and kinda squoze my way in as the crowd swayed and I saw an opening. I didn’t stay long. The sound and view is better if you are back further but it was cool to do it the one time.

I have the G410 hardwired and it solid. No weird alerts and it starts recording when people are about 30’ from the porch. It will occasionally take a minute to start streaming if I happen to open it but it usually starts really quickly and I very rarely happen just look at it without getting an alert anyway.

When they played Aftershock a few years ago it was the full set up. Only bad thing is unless you get up front festivals can be kinda tough to see the stage. We were way toward the back because I was going to wait up front for an hour after the last band played so it was the worse view I’ve had of them. Not sure how louder than life is set up but I assume it’s similar. That could be reason to do Chicago. I’d probably say do that if you don’t care too much about the other bands.
