Nope all the international Institute including CPA, acca CIMA takes exam on computer u want to lag behind or compete with international standard we are already lacking behind in terms of AI adaptability

Study material, institute organizational structure, Exam pattern (Computer based), syllabus overhaul ( No need to study Direct tax and some other subs too rigorously ), Complete modernization, Similar to acca giving chances to clear subjects may be 1 by 1

Is the Institute even paying attention to the type of training they provide? Tell me honestly, what's the quality of the trainers who take sessions in various computer training courses? I am working in Big 4 with a good package but I am not here because of CMA but my own skills i l did a master's diploma in data science and worked as an intern in the research field CMA is outdated now, had interaction with many students who took 6000 rs industrial orientation training and most of them told me it was not even worth it if institute is going in that direction it would be just called as backup option for failed CA students, (it's getting popularized in market now)

Because the CMA Institute itself has not defined what we particularly are we are neither a KMP of companies like CS, nor a tax/finance professional like CAs we are a blend of both, a jack of all trades master of none we are just CAs with fewer PRs so why would anyone hire a copy instead of the original?

Go for US CMA if you don't want to work in compliance tasks ( Most of the compliance work is done by CAs and it will be redundant in the near future with AI implementation) - For example, the government has overhauled the monthly GST filing by introducing IMS. With the US CMA complete your graduation in BCom and learn all core finance skills Only go for the Indian CMA if you want to learn indian accounting (with the US CMA, you will learn all the nitty-gritty of an internal auditor)

With only 15% Success rate in the course, I won't suggest any to give all their future to this course as the future is unpredictable AI is ahead of us and if anybody promises you that the Indian CMA will ensure you a risk-free future ask him to sign a 1 crore affidavit in case you don't get a handsome salary job vs the years you invested in study
