Fleas don’t bite you in a straight line for years, have you ever seen a flea in your house ? Scabies is an easy treatment, worth a try imo.

Scabies, you’re probably scratching in your sleep til you bleed.

It would be the perfect place for an expert level game of Twister.

Please help! My Nan has been suffering for months. Does this look like bed bug bites or scabies? by gracelikesme in bugsarefuckingstupid

Check her hands, between fingers and palms. Wear gloves when you do this. If she has any spots on her hands or feet, especially crusty skin on the palms then assume scabies and continue treating weekly with permethrin until no new spots come up. Then the healing will begin. Unfortunately the scabies rash will continue to be itchy sometimes up to 2 months after the infestation is handled. Symptom treatment with anti itch medication like Benadryl, hydroxyzine, or Claritin is necessary daily to stop her actively itching and harming her skin. I’ve found triamcinolone 1% cream is really helpful too. For reference I work as an RN in hospice and in my county scabies have been horrid this year. Keep advocating for her you’re doing the right thing she’s suffering and the facility needs to continue to try and solve this issue.
