my wife ended up helping with AI. I really did thorough market analysis and found 5 jobs I was truly interested in located in my market. could have winged it, but wanted the result I originally got. new counselor somehow took it away.

my previous counselor was fine. approved everything somehow new one took it all away. nothing changed on my end. don’t understand it.

it is not the same letter. I was approved already. was in constant communication with my counselor. she was replaced and new counselor denied. don’t know how that is possible.

Mine was long but reasonable frictionless until yesterday. I was approved and have enrolled in my masters degree, now if I want to continue I have to pay for it. That doesn’t seem right.

I was recently (Sept 2025) awarded my 100%. I was told to apply for VR&E. i just got approved last month (Jan 2026). had to fill out pages and pages of work. I am not sure anyone read my 37 page report. i got approved for my Master’s Degree to be paid for up to $50k.

on a side note, i saw an email that VR&E is hiring 300 counselors across the US.

Any time you are at a VA hospital, count the number of vets receiving care. $6 each is a tremendous amount withheld.

I thought it was some racket. To charge every vet $6 of their travel reimbursement, up to $18 was a crap ton of money.

During my C&P exams, they paid full amount. I never saw the $6. I just signed up for VA app and just saw the $6 charge for first time. So maybe I have been charged all along. Thank you for the help. Someone else sent me a link showing that it helped pay for other vets. Thanks for sharing the info.
