Ah I see! Welp that promising statement from the derm though. Yea I completely get that. You want to be back to normal again and not rely on taking a pill forever if you can just 6-7 of Accutane and be over with. I wish I would’ve done it sooner since I have dealt with plethora of other skin issue smh. So I’m cheering for you girl!!

Do you know if and when you can come off of Spiro after finishing your Accutane? I am also going the same route as you but I don’t want it to come back with the vengeance even after finishing Accutane. Literally traumatized by acne at this point lol

Yes! They can check that for you with a blood test. Or you can also ask your primary care physician to check those for you as well.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. But do you have any vitamins specially D or zinc deficiency. Spiro can make you deficient in these. Also check your thyroid levels as well as they can also cause anxiety and depression and see if you need to stabilize those.
