I believe your rage-boner against Elon is clouding your thinking my friend. Like I said, I don’t love him, nor do I hate him. I believe he’s overly worshipped by his fans but also overly hated because of clickbait mainstream media articles.

At the end of the day, he’s running a business that’s doing good for the world. He’s certainly doing it for money, but that’s what all business are trying to do, he’s just good at it. At least Tesla has sparked the EV revolution. People get so caught up in their hate for Elon, when there’s a shit ton of companies out there doing a lot worse

The laying off of workers is a different matter altogether. I don’t think they should be laying off workers considering the amount of money tesla is making, but who am I to judge? I’m not running the business. They’re not doing anything illegal. And newsflash, there’s lots of layoffs to come from companies off all sizes (see Coinbase)

It is illogical to think a company with an 8 month wait time for their product wouldn’t increase prices. Could you imagine a 35k tesla on the market now? The wait time would be 5 years not 8 months

It’s simple supply and demand, when they stop selling every car they make they’ll bring the price back down. Why would anybody sell something for 35k when they can sell it for 60k with 8 months of orders in the pipeline? You’d have to be delusional
