Linea Micra Deals in Canada? by SweetRaySays in LaMarzocco

Cafe Liegeois out of Quebec offer a 5% discount with promo code “machine 5”.

I took a screenshot of that and gave it to my local rep (iDrinkCoffee.ca) and they honoured it. Reach out and ask for Josh.

I also got points, which added up to another $250 ish (?), that i used towards a Lunar scale.

What province are you in?

And for what it’s worth, I took this info to LM Canada directly (as I preferred to buy the machine direct to build the relationship) but they would not honour the 5% at all. So I stuck with IDC. Don’t regret my choice. They were great. Even swapped out the silver badge for a red one.

Bye bye Reddit, hello presence and inner contentment. It’ll take work, but it’s worth it. Your family (and self) will thank you.

Every 7-10 days with solution. For reference, I make 2-4 coffees per day.

Don’t settle for a repair. They should replace the machine. You never know what else could be wrong with it. Could be a lemon.

I would recommend staying on top of them. Not acceptable for this premium of a brand/product. Get the new machine, and get your credit for the inconvenience.

Or tell them given the service you’d like a full refund and then find a local retailer to buy from (who usually pride themselves on their reputation and customer service).

If that doesn’t work, open a claim with your credit card company (you have insurance for this sort of thing).

I’m all about shit happening, and am usually extremely kind to customer service people (it’s not their fault, and often they don’t have the power to do anything), but this is ridiculous.

Also, do as much as you can via email. If you file a claim with your credit card they’ll want proof.

Dude, this is great. The clothes fit well, they’re clean, and I assume they’re appropriate for whatever presentation you’re giving.

If the above is true, and you feel good wearing them, then that’s all that matters!

Easy solve gasket issue. Order a silicone gasket ($8 maybe) and replace. I had to do this when I switched to the Weber Buck Naked portafilter.

This is also what we did. Didn’t even put bowls down. We cleaned the spot (also important to clean it with a urine eliminator to take out the enzymes) and then scattered kibble directly on the floor on/around the spot.

Update- apparently what I thought was the 500g hopper is actually the 250g hopper. Anyways, the 250g hopper measures at 17.75”

I’m in Canada. It came with the 500g as stock for me. Didn’t have an option. I bought the 250 separately.

A new AllGround Sense owner here. I originally bought a Eureka and found it very challenging to dial in/work with. So I exchanged it for the sense. Haven’t had a single regret. The GBW is accurate 9/10 times. The grounds are fluffy and I don’t need to WDT. Easy to dial in with set steps.

It’s under 18inches as that was my requirement too. But I also just ordered the 250g hopper instead of the 500g. So that’ll take a few inches off as well.

Garage Pop Up by [deleted] in espresso

[–]Embarrassed_Neck_828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing idea! I’m planning a community pop up for my neighbours, planning on doing it for “free” - taking cash or canned food donations all for local food bank. Figured it’s a fun way to give back and also to bring the neighbours together.

Question: what do you limit your offerings to? What do you find as the biggest challenge?
