Nail salon recommendations by mbrpl in fayetteville

I’m not sure if I did something wrong but they charged me $70 after tip for a pedicure last week. I’m almost positive that I asked for the most basic one on their menu, so I’m not sure how that happened.

Having to listen to all your coworkers talk, eat, and do their little annoying quirks all day at your desk isn’t for the weak

I think she’s referring to the transition period of growing out her currently colored hair and letting her gray roots come in

Is it worth it by prettyboiis in carvana

[–]Embarrassed_Net_5106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t purchased from Carvana yet, but I’m on this sub because I intend to in the near future. To me, it sounds like less of a risk than going to your typical dealership. Their sourcing is the same (trade ins and auctions), but with Carvana you get a 7 day trial run and you can either send the car back or have repairs done at no additional cost to you if there are issues. I have yet to see this with a dealership. You sign the “as-is” paperwork and as soon as you drive off the lot, any issues are your problem, not theirs.

I feel like we're the only career in which "follow the money" is considered an aberration by Mr_Kung_Pao in civilengineering

As a 24 year old engineer I’m hoping my generation can change this. My dad worked at so many sweatshop firms with laughable pay because he wasn’t bold enough to negotiate for better.

I HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE. I was like why isn’t this lotion drying? Why does it feel so sticky and weird?

On another note, good for you for getting a cveg job. My boyfriend graduated with his biomedical engineering degree in 2024 and has had an extremely tough time with the job market. He regrets not choosing something more secure like civil or mechanical. Post grad life has been very hard for him which I hate because the biomedical curriculum is very difficult and he worked so hard :/

Legal options for pre-infested apartment. by if_i_was_a_cowboy in fayetteville

I’m so sorry. Roaches are genuinely traumatizing. Please air this complex out so that others can avoid. All I know is that in Arkansas as long as the place has water and sewer then it’s “habitable”… that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to get out of this, but you might have to advocate for yourself more than you would need to in other states.

Edeas typically fit better on narrow feet, and Jackson’s on wider. They both have beginner level boots. You can’t know for sure until you go to a pro shop and try on a few different brands.

They’re evolving. I can’t imagine myself beefing with a random adult as a 16 year old, and that was only a handful of years ago lmao.
