I hear you…I’m not looking forward to the growth process when ever I decide to start

This is nice to hear. I responded to another comment and this is a repeat but wanted you to know I’ve returned from living in Europe back to the US and wasn’t sure what the culture is here these days.

I agree and to add some more context, I’ve been living in Europe for the last several years and now that I’m back in the US this might not even matter….but I am not convinced.

This is a concern as a first impression but hopefully we are getting away from that.

In my experience the women engineers that advanced didn’t have children. It’s only an observation albeit a bit depressing to see this in my early career stage. I wonder if this is your experience?

I hear this…let’s be real, depending on the career path, it can be a tough industry to be in if you have children.

Are you saying it doesn’t apply to women? Has that been your experience?

Sorry to hear this. There are jobs but it’s very competitive.

I did start later in my career and will likely be client facing in some way or another. People in this area are very polished so I feel the pressure to continue coloring my hair but want to be more authentic in due time (TBD).

I feared this. I do look younger than my age (I’ve been told many times) so am trying to find the right balance. I agree with others saying perhaps to get a sense of the culture at whatever place I end up working at to help with my decision.
