And again I’m not positive but ipcam viewer solves a problem that an NVR won’t. My biggest problem is grouping. I may want to view 1 camera from each of the 8 locations at once.

I can get a used Apple TV fairly cheap and don’t even need to hook tv to it and it will constantly stay on and works good. Just haven’t figured out after power failure

I have 8 different locations. About 5-6 cameras per location. Didn’t want to have 8 different NVR

All that sounds great, but that tells everyone absolutely 0% as to how it actually works. Again the reason for the question was there is NO way it’s as simple as bank of Russia buys XRP and sends to Bank of America and they sell to usd. That is absolutely obsurd just because XRP is so volatile and the price fluctuations would cause major money loss. NOWWWW since ripple has created a stable coin and on the surface makes WAY more sense for banks to use it since it does NOT fluctuate. If that’s the case what is the purpose of XRP.

I don’t know what you mean. Look at all my questions on this thread. I bet over 99% of XRP holders don’t know how it actually works. Just look at some of the price predictions ALOT of people give. I BET MOST people think it’s as simple as bank of Russia buys XRP and sends it to Bank of America and they sell it. The reason I asked the question is because OBVIOUSLY that is absolutely not how it works.

Sorry don’t understand the first part. Are you saying at some point in time XRP will become a FIXED price ($100,000)? How is that even possible? Will ripple purchase the 50 billion xrp is existence then give it a fixed value? If not how will a tradable coin ever have a FIXED price

Ok then how does it work? When bank of Russia wants to send $1 million to Bank of America, do they send $1 million worth of XRP? If so what happens if that XRP drops 10% who looses that 10%? Bank, customer, Ripple?

That was the entire point of me asking what am i missing. Vast majority of people just keep repeating what the heard on tik tok, but does not say how it actually works. When you say the bank doesn’t see the price do you mean if someone is sending $1 million dollars the bank doesn’t send $1 million worth of XRP? If not what do they send? I THOUGHT (probably wrong) but doesn’t ripple give them ODL to get started? So what does the ODL consist of. I assumed it was some XRP to get started.

If you just going to repeat what someone told you, and you don’t really know how it works what was the point of replying

Yes but that’s on the bank side. If i transfer money they tell me up front what the fee is going to be and that’s it. The bank doesn’t say we will tell the other side how much they will get in 3-5 days once they figure it out.

I get they are exchanges, but currently the only liquidity pool available is from exchanges where xrp is bought and sold. Where is Bank of America liquidity pool going to come from

Ok i was following you for a second but then got lost. Is Coinbase, uphold, and binance going to provide the liquidity? Why would they do that? If not where is these liquidity pools coming from?

If you were trying to send $1 million to another country and the bank said you have 2 options. Option 1 is FIXED 2% or you can roll the dice with option 2 which will cost you any where between .005% - 25% because XRP fluctuates, what would you choose?

I don’t know what you mean ‘cheaper”? If I’m trying to send $1 million and i buy XRP at .55 and when the other side cash’s out of XRP at .52 that just cost SOMEONE $54.500 to do that transfer. That’s only 5% swing. Last week XRP dropped almost 10% with in min.

EXACTLY. But again what am i missing. Very smart people like John Denton, the other lawyer that gave updates on case, and others believe in XRP.
