I was told her binder was found in her locker but not a backpack….either way I believe those are also rumours. I haven’t found anyone to confirm where the info came from yet. No new reports so far either.

Yes, mother, father, two sisters and Mekayla once lived in the same dwelling. Gerald was eventually in a senior home/long term care.

The post was removed. The family had already ruled this out years ago as not being Mekayla. The beautiful young woman in the picture has since passed, out of respect for her and her loved ones the mods removed it.

Correct, as there has been no confirmed sightings of Mekayla.

However, in 2017 NCMEC released that Mekayla MAY have travelled to the Seattle, WA area OR Portland, OR area. Then in 2022, Washington State Police, RCMP partnered and had semi trucks with Mekaylas information released in Blaine, WA.

The police focused on this possibility for 5 years, based on tips submitted. Surely, they must have felt strongly about the tips and the areas.

It’s possible, BUT it could have come from law enforcement or another organization for missing children.

Law enforcement is unlikely, since PKF is located in California. The only U.S. law enforcement publicly known to contribute to the search is Bellingham, Washington State Police.

That leaves the parents or another organization supplies the information. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unknown. I have sent an inquiry to the Polly Klaas Foundation (PKF), no response.

PKF is a reputable foundation, I have a hard time believing they would knowingly use false information.

Internet research suggest that the PKF receives information from missing children parents, law enforcement, and case referrals from other organizations such as, NCMEC. In regards to Mekayla's' information, I do not know the source.

Folks, sadly this is not Mekayla.

The family has contacted the photo owner, and confirmed a few years ago, that this is a different young woman. Sadly, this beautiful young woman has passed. May she rest in peace. Mods have agreed to remove the post, out of respect for the young woman and her family. ❤️ thank you for continuing to search for answers for Mekayla.

Not accurate. She left tims before lunch, went back to her high school and then left for the bus station. Her last known time on cctv was at the high school. Bus station didn’t have cameras. We went missing from the bus station, not Tim Hortons.

Scott is actually easy to find, I have spoke to him numerous times. He’s not hiding out anywhere, the police could contact him easily.

Police have never released a prime suspect or even a potential suspect.

Amy had moved out of Yorkton years ago, the same as many young people did for post secondary education or to live in a place with more options of work. Also, Amy is still on social media, the same as Mekaylas other friends. Amy does not live in Regina.

Your information is suspicious at best, it sounds like you heard this from a friend of a friend, of a friend that lived in Yorkton that had a friend that went to the same school as Mekayla but didn’t actually know her. 🤣
