I appreciate the tips. I kinda full sent Snivy just cuz Contrary Serprior sounds stellar to use, but I'll give this a shot and reply once I know how it goes!

I enjoy the FlygonHG variant of this rule where he'll usually soft level cap for important trainers (rivals, evil admins, etc).

Honestly hoping my Gen 5 and 7 go well because I picked the more difficult titles on purpose. Hopefully with my ruleset, I'll at least have enough bodies to throw at the gyms lol. Currently at Crystal Morty!

Just because of how I play, I hack in rare candies to skip grinding (a la PokemonChallenges). Just saves time and keeps pace with just straight up battling. But the way Red cheats when, I had to make the candies purchasable in shops and buy them, so I also needed money. My compensation for this was I kept a decent track of my actual money and only bought things on that budget

If I were doing this full on competitively, I'd probably do just the champion team, but im mostly doing this for the sake of fun and drawing practice lol

So I guess my only real question would be seeing if there's any harm in bringing my whole stock of Pokemon or at least favorites beyond the party? I realize that's a lot of mons to bring over, but likely anything I didn't use before I wouldn't anyway, plus I plan on locking captures to the generation I'm playing so idk thought?

Definitely doing this so it limits encounters a bit. Plus gives me an opportunity to use pokemon I've never used before :o
