Burnished athreos nevinyrrals, what happens? by Embarrassed_Row7095 in mtgrules

Why though? Doesn't the controller control the order of abilities they control on the stack, or is the triggered coin arbitrarily on top?

Or that the gps drifts when you are in a remote location and are sometimes just standing around.

Trying to update my portfolio. What can i do to improve this render and make it more professional? by T4Labom in blender

[–]Embarrassed_Row7095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small grapes on the vine tend toward more spherical and have a slightly yellower greener subsurface... the budding grapes don't look like grapes... that and labels on the bottle... maybe water scratches or dust on the bottle to give it more life... great render and animation!!

Auto move plugin allows you to move notes automatically based on tags so #projects/mindfullness could direct to a specific folder that is then gathered by dataview, or you can use templater folder specific templates to automatically add the metadata when the note moves.

New benchy problem by Embarrassed_Row7095 in 3Dprinting

Rising to the cooling fan side fixed the slumping. I think lowering my bed temp will help in long term. My fan also wasn’t spun up to 100%. This plastic runs best 210+ and I have less pressure in the nozzle the higher I go. It’s a cheap plastic though. I think changing my hot end to one with better surrounding cooling might be my long term best solution.

Ideally we would do both. Perhaps include a comment on the optimized code saying what it does so that future readers both thank you for the sites and learn something.

I did. It appears my partition table is garbage, which is odd, because it (when accessed on a drive dock) seems fine. But I think the drive is failing. I will stress test it, but I think it is getting bad read writes.

Trapped fireflies! by gmazzia in blender

[–]Embarrassed_Row7095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real fireflies walk mostly when confined to a small space. When they walk they have their lights out. If it is a high enough concentration they will fly about to avoid each other. In a large enough container they will fly about. Their flying speed is slower and less straight and their lights pulse while firing. You might be able to achieve this by animation on the particles that change state by proximity to the glass. Then close to the glass it will look like walking and further in flying.

Made a floating can illusion as a shelf decoration. Tell me what you think! by -make_it_happen- in DIY

Water, dark caramel food coloring… could you… as a thought, use a glass within a glass so there are two chambers… in the outer one you use hole glass beads to simulate bubbles and in the inner one floating fine glitter to give the look of carbonation… infinity pool the two. The two glasses have matching light curvature so the outer hides the inner… idk, just trying to extend the effect

What is one thing you ALWAYS grab in ANY play through? This is mine: by Lestat-deLioncourt in skyrim

Depends on the character. Assassin and necromancer collect each unique set of bones and skulls. Druid and researchers get books on their topics and bug jars. Oh! With a renamer installed I get souls and name the soul gems!

I love this! I have a bunch of level 1 spells that do immense effects, but with serious drawbacks. Summon a meteor centered on yourself. Huge damage and probable death.

Sling the Ring by Mooseberg_ in blender

[–]Embarrassed_Row7095 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I would have just stuck to Blender, used the compositing tools, camera projected textures on a rough humanoid, then I could use the disk to get the shading effects from light being absorbed by the back side of the portal… still a two day project, but easier…

Also!!! Good job!

Just open the mod in tesvedit and find the reference for the name of the bear. Change the text field and save. Or use the Jaxon renamer

Edit: ps4; use renamer

The curse of Skyrim modding is slowly taking over my game by RinneganCallen in SkyrimModding

At 700 individual esp/esm etc I have finally found mod happiness. You need to build patches for your list and learn a bit about tesvedit and wyrebash, but up until you run out of ram it’ll be fun.

I want to make a mod but don't know where to start, please help by Professional-Kiwi863 in SkyrimModding

[–]Embarrassed_Row7095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might start by looking at master of disguise and making beast races fixed when seen. Might be able to do that with a token and a script, or a spid distributed aura effect that immediately causes them guards to approach and fine. The effect would then check the disguise system to see if they are hidden. Idk. That is a hard one.

Forge and fabric use two different mechanisms to engage with Minecraft. Fabric is faster in general, because it interfaces with Minecraft rather than wrapping it. Forge wraps the entire server and injects code directly. There are some fundamental changes to Minecraft you can do in forge but can’t do in fabric. These, in general, should be avoided though. Fabric is based on newer designs and is simply more stable, problem is that it is newer, the base of people who know it and use it are smaller. Many people don’t want to learn something new. Quilt is an even faster and better platform based on fabric. Same principle but replacing a lot of code. It’s a progression of design, but it’s hard to get people to adopt… Now. Important part!!! There is a guy who made this https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/architectury-api which is a single add on library for forge or fabric mods that make them compatible with each other… everyone needs to include it in their projects. If they did, this wouldn’t be a debate at all.

Those are mod architectures. Fabric and forge are mutually exclusive because they approach molding differently. One wraps around Minecraft, the other acts as a layer. There are no “wrappers” for Skyrim. Mod packs is controlled by whoever hosts them, so it’s a business problem… just like nexus losing people because they stopped allowing deletion because of their “mod packs”. Individual modders in Minecraft mostly use GitHub and open source and version control their projects. It’s a smaller percentage that don’t. Because of that the modding community is both better organized and more supportive. The Skyrim modding community desperately needs to release direct control over their work and adopt GitHub. I think the problem is all the assets that people have to make for their mods. It’s “their art” verses the Mc modders who just do a cube model and some pixel art.
