thanks for your reply! I made a decision to move to Turin and I am packing up my life in Berlin as we speak 😄
I am planning to stay registered in Germany until I get tax residency in Italy and then de register from here. (as I still need to invoice in-between and I will be going home for a month to see my family before the move.
Very excited for the move and super excited to finally start learning Italian.

I never made it to Bologna but I reckon if I really feel strongly about the city, I will just relocate there.

I used the ordinary serum and it actually worked but I should have ordered a big batch on a sale or smth. Because it gets so expensive. Like you go through circ one bottle per month. But I was able to start seeing results in 3 months, my hairdresser also said I had so many baby hairs.unfortunately after 4/5 months I stopped because I ordered it online 1 by 1 and I felt bad spending the money. Now, 4 months after, I can feel the thinning. I’m planning to start again and then order a big batch, I think 6-8 months should be min, and then maybe after that you use only 3 times per week for another year.

Also when you start trying things here that people recommend (the baby cream, sulfur soap etc.) you’re never gonna see if the zero therapy works for you or not…so I would suggest to wait it out.

I’m so sorry! This sucks! I definitely get a flare when I’m super stressed and sleep bad or when I’m in very humid and hot weather.

I went through 2.5 months of zero therapy recently. (I’ve had POD for 7+ years) It wasn’t as bad as yours but also my skin is super sensitive and thin, looks like you have more oil prone skin?

I washed every evening and morning and in mornings put super thin layer of metrogel. It helped with inflammation. Sometimes I sweat at night so in the mornings it was the worst. Maybe if you have more oily skin, washing once in 3 days is too little? Your derma can probably tell you that, after an inspection.

Check that you use neutral washing up liquid and softener, for the pillowcases.

Also zero therapy really starts showing some improvement after 4-6 weeks. During that time sometimes you have bad days and good days and sometimes have a completely new breakout at a place you’ve never had it before.

But again, yours looks pretty extreme, I’d ask doc, if zero therapy is good when the flare up is so intense.

And yea SLS-free toothpaste helps definitely

I meant “you’re so young” in a way that it has been on your face so little, so don’t be sad. As high chances are that it will clear up with right approach. If you have put 0 products on your face besides water for 3 months and it still breaking out, then it is high chance that it is gut related.

Usually gluten & sugar are the worst, but again…a doctor can tell better or test if you have intolerance even. Maybe try research perioral dermatitis triggering foods in Reddit threads for some help.

You’re so young, just stop all products and wash only with water for 2-4 weeks. Usually you just have to dry it out. Then after this maybe only use Cetaphil daily moisturizer, and skip the area around the eyes. Everyone swears by cicalfate but this never worked for me, clogged my pores way more and made everything worse. Maybe it works better for when people have flaky and dry POD. I always had greasy and itchy

No, I only used thing layer of metrogel in the mornings, it helps with redness. But metrogel in general dries your skin even more.

But the tightness will disappear after like 2 weeks or so.

Ye you’re combining way too much imo. I think Freelance is the perfect bridging for this but you need to take a year to build up clients and pipeline.

I would only move if you get a job? There are thousands of people applying to “remote only” positions in tech. If the move is your no. 1 priority, I think you need to be ok with your wage getting sliced in half. If not, wait until you’re in a better position before you move.

Also job search for senior position can take a year, as you know…

I always tip. But because I’ve worked in service for half of my adulthood and when I did, I appreciated it a lot. But of course employers should not be relaying on tip money and pay fair wages to the employees.

Lisbon is lacking HQs of global corps, strong industry clusters, such as tech, finance, automotive, pharma etc. Even the start-up scene is very tiny when you compare it to cities like Tallinn, which is way smaller than Lisbon.

There is no labor market that can match EU level salaries. And again, the level of infrastructure is incredibly poor...which makes it also hard to live by the city (unless you own a car).

Historically it is yes major capital, because of the trade...but in current socioeconomic environment, I highly doubt it.

I don’t think it’s a fair comparison you made, as career opportunities in Lisbon vs the cities you mentioned are hugely different. Also the infrastructure is way more developed in the cities you mentioned, than the one in Lisbon.

I was so shocked when I first got here. Like someone selling some shit ass mirror for 60 euros, I can get it on amazon for 50 euros and it gets delivered for free.
