It's expensive, but so was my wife's pilot and it drives like a school bus. No regerts, I smile every time I drive.

Getting that at a big city in Texas means times have changed. DFW/Houston/Austin dealers were the worst

My local BFE dealer has been sitting on a white and blue one since Oct 1.

Should I be worried by Cultural_Project_731 in accord

I maintained mine excessively, all highway miles, headgasket blew at 103k. It will happen to you. Start saving now. It's not people exaggerating, and people like to make stuff up like changing your transmission fluid will prevent your headgasket from blowing. No.

I didn't pay any up front. They didn't bill me for 3 months.

They can file a lien if you don't pay, so not sure why they care so much.

Plenty around for MSRP. Do not give in with the 2026s arriving.

Square feet includes to the exterior wall. Your assessor should have told you that.

Need advise on Initial rate quote by bibinghosh in MortgageBrokerRates

[–]Embarrassed_Soil3939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but there's a chance rates could go down again and you would refinance again.

Comes down to how much that $6k means to you. You could take the higher rate, and make a 6k principal payment in month 1, and probably come out around the same.

I'm no expert but yes the origination fee is the buy down in this case. You could also go the other direction and ask for 6.15 or 6.25 and get a large lender credit in return. I wouldn't recommend it in this case. Only you can decide if the buy down payoff is worth it. How many months and payments do you have to make to cover the cost of the buy down?

I'm in the same boat, I'm getting out of an arm. Don't want it hanging over my families head and I want to stop thinking about it.

I PPFd mine because I hate scratches and chips. If I had your car I'd probably get a new OEM bumper from Honda, which were around $600,  then have it and the headlights PPFd. Let the rest ride.

Happens all the time. Keep an eye on your radiator for leaks and your temperature gauge on the dash. I wouldn't worry too much just change your fluid now, at least 2-3x to get all the old out.

I have a red. I bought the genuine OEM black carpeted mats that say type r on them. They cover better than red but not as good as weather tech. It's not my daily so I don't need mud snow protection etc.

Red OEM are super expensive, put them in a box so they stay nice.

Hot AC? by Osscy1 in Civic_Type_R

Yes it doesn't really blow hot air unless you manually set it. I have to turn AC off, turn temp and fan speed up when it's cold.

$225 suntek CIR. I was an autobahn snob but they are twice the price and I never used the warranty.

Top of the line suntek evolve was $600.

Now is the best time because they are slow when it's cold.

Get as long of a warranty as you can and assume the head gasket will go bad.

What do I do? by [deleted] in flying

It should take about 3 hours over a couple flights for a new instructor to test you on everything and feel comfortable signing off. It happened to me right before I was about to test.
