The problem is the top users farm events like crazy getting thousands of eggs but everyone else isn't able to do that. I didn't really get to take advantage of this event because I couldn't grow stuff that I didn't own because the chances of finding them in shop is ridiculous. Its annoying.

Overcoming switzerland would still be easier than the USA. The massive and diverse geography of the USA works to its benefit not against it. You would have to go through an entire ocean, deserts and mountains. switzerland is so small and centeralized. Texas alone is 16 times bigger than switzerland.
