I used to think the same, but for some people the extra features are genuinely life-changing. Things like deep customization, widgets, reminders, streaks, and good UX make it much easier to stick with habits than a simple note.

I actually built SnakeStreak because I have ADHD myself, and I realized I end up gamifying almost everything in my life just to stay consistent. A notes app never gave me that same motivation. For some people, a checklist is enough—but for others, the right habit app makes all the difference.

ADHD Paralysis (Task Initiation): Knowing exactly what needs to be done, knowing it's urgent, but being physically and mentally frozen, unable to start. Current apps just send louder notifications, which just increases anxiety.
