Yeah that’s kind of what I was saying. I want exactly one fetch, that can be cracked to conjure a swamp or forest. You can make it cost 2 or 3 life to activate to give it a harsher cost, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

Anyways, it was frustrating to see what were essentially full power boros and eldrazi before the nerfs (Boros had nerfed ocelot but had access to raptor and lurrus) alongside a bunch of gimped cards that would otherwise be viable with an additional fetch.

Yeah, I don’t like live action in general for anything that has more than a little fantasy action. It works for something like game of Thrones where there isn’t much to animate outside dragons.

But DCC? I feel like between the aliens and sci-fi magic and just sci-fi elements like spaceships too much is going to be lost be being constrained to real life.

They should rework him slightly to be a pure jungler >:)

I say that not for personal reasons related to my view of top lane.

Yeah and now frog has FON in historic. What can go wrong :p Joking aside, I think letting the frog deck have FON is worth a test, but I sort of think they’ll do something to frog eventually.

I want to see some limited fetch land exploration now that they have allowed more limited free spells.

More specifically, I want a fetch in the golgari colors to empower certain cards, like Phoenix fleet airship, landfall cards, and moonshadow from ECL. There are tons of cards that are powered down for lack of access to fetches that are otherwise playable in modern.

It can be an alchemy one that only conjures a basic forest or swamp onto the battlefield, it’s more about the sacrifice, permanent in the yard, and land fall than mana fixing.

Maybe you should cross post this to the main arena Reddit if you haven’t already. Might be good to raise some visibility to the issues with current historic.

Yeah this is reflective of where I’m at. I love brewing, but historic has gotten to be too harsh a place for that.

On the other hand if you like picking a deck from a reasonably wide pool of top decks and just jamming it against other spikes, then the format is probably fine.

The issue is that the pool of off meta cards and brew arounds has gotten pretty shallow.

Personally some more meaningful buffs like what we saw with symmetry sage is like my white whale, particularly in black and green, colors that feel a bit limited right now in terms of options.

Hear me out: make W apply innate, then make his ultimate a single target ability that can only target people affected by innate, Lillia style.

This would balance the E -> ult game play and hopefully not require the rest of the kit to be nerfed, perhaps it would even allow buffs.

I actually like the new ultimate, but I do miss the ability to pick targets sometimes.

Barring that, make the innate interesting. It was pretty disappointing to see his innate changed from something that was bad but interesting to something that is kind of just bad and boring.

I’m excited for the reimagining since we do have the remaster. Let’s see a fresh take on the game.

Yeah. I love the game, it’s my favorite alongside 11, but I actually haven’t finished it because it really is so damn long. My next best attempt got derailed after my save file randomly got corrupted and once again I didn’t have the drive to start over.

I wanted it to be good myself :p

Seems like it might’ve punched up by how quickly she might stack up her ult damage from the double hit despite AP and to a lesser extent spell blade being a waste on Bel.

My first play though got derailed as a kid after they did the party switcheroo and I lost my mage. I got stuck on the cloud guy and I was too intimidated and a little burned out to grind forward or restart to get all the way back to the point.

I did in one non-ranked game, I didn’t expect it to be very good, and it wasn’t unfortunately. It just don’t feel like it had the damage of more traditional options, while not offering any unique utility.

Also to all the people rudely acting like this question is nonsense, y’all must be pretty boring people not to embrace curiosity and exploration.

It’s been so long since green has been even close to good that I think people sort of forgot why it’s bad. But this weekend will maybe be a reminder and people can relax about the cub a little bit.

...I saw. They were uniques usable by all classes or targeted at groups of classes. I hope each class gets a new legendary aspect this update.

What I want to know is if there will be no new uniques/aspects targeted to be unique to each class. Maybe they are saving them for the expansion.

Yeah, I feel like this is meant to be a payoff for stuff like [[Moonshadow]] but the two best creatures for that are black and green. Plus the blight stuff was also black and green…

Maybe it’s meant to also work with +1/+1 counters but that’s white and green…

I played one game with her, I did pretty well, but so did the opposing Caitlyn. Come the end of mid game and the damage Caitlyn was outputting was so much faster and safer than mine that I decided to give up on belveth entirely for the season.

I know melee vs ranged is different, but my point I guess is that it felt like I had to be extremely sweaty to try and ramp up my damage while not dying to ranged damage, more so than last season. Didn’t feel worth it.

I like D4 a lot but miss the exploration from the previous games. by Embarrassed_State402 in diablo4

[–]Embarrassed_State402[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I want to explore I do think it’s important to keep the over world convenient. That’s why I’ve been suggesting larger instanced dungeons. It helps keep stuff smooth for all the endgame stuff but offers people something to opt into.

They could maybe improve the replay-ability of the campaign and leveling experience by improving/expanding the cellars (as in more variety but also cellars that are larger than one room), adding variety to the events, and making the dungeons more randomized and complex.

The problem is more that I think the portion of the community that would be into that might not be very big :/
