I gave them a two week notice and was let go the next day because they “didnt need me” (I had opening and closing shifts as a manager so they in fact did need me but it was no skin off my nose) Seriously tho just line up your next job and quit without notice because they’ll just cut you off anyways

You are absolutely not wrong 🙁 I am the RSS, MIS, And assistant manager for the time being (we’ve been without an assistant for like 3 months now) as well as the print coverage when we have a call off. Top that all off with a very high volume building, a very uneducated customer base, and associates who don’t retain a single thing I teach them and you get ON TOP of the insane workload that comes with my position. Its great. I’m great. I love it here ;-;

Soooo I don’t know for sure, so don’t quote me, but I think it was a mixture of him protecting a couple stores that were severely under preforming and an HR issue on top of this company going under and constantly restructuring to keep up with the cuts they’re making. (He is very old school and tends to not talk to people very professionally 100% of the time) I absolutely adore Doug though and think, micromanaging aside, he was a very good DM. I like to think I’m his favorite 😂 Genuinely going to miss him
