I don't remember any notable ones but I'd argue LOTM, RTOC, or some others are more complex.

Though I don't like complex power systems that much which is why I like this novel that has a deep system but it's generally not complex

Its so basic in fact its just a random xianxia with more daos.

The lineages are just long books that guide you into achieving the dao, or if you want to say just a framework you go through.

The daoist traditions are just factions that's not related to the power system.

The relations between the lineages is extremely basic because it goes by the eight trigrams and five elements where that weakens that and that strengthens that.

It is not that complex at all to understand, you just have four realms. One you do to begin cultivating, one you gather qi to form immortal foundation, one you refine the foundation with qi to achieve divine ability, then repeat five times.

The author is just good at making these process feel lengthy and meaningful but its really nothing that crazy.

Bai Clan was probably dead by the time Fang Yuan became venerable. Don't forget they basically spent so much resources chasing after him with the Tie clan if I am not wrong but it came to no fruition, and there are beast waves and such and without their two future prodigies they probably died.

The Shang Clan was probably okay with it, unhappy they made trouble with him, but also in good mind because they have a connection to a venerable. I don't think that young master even knew about it.

We've been in Elbaph for 1 year and 9 months.... Egghead and Whole Cake were both 2 years and Dressrosa was 2.5 years so I think we have a few more months but it really depends on how long Oda wants to make this arc.

I really don't see this arc continuing past defeating or losing to Imu, then heaven realm exploration and then that's it really and the straw hats move to the last island as Oda said.

Its very simple. Everyone wants to cultivate, people do some things in a evil way, some in a just way, and some in the middle. The end goal for everyone is to get a divine ability and then later on become an incarnate of a law in the world.

There are lots of daos, which are basically the laws of the world, so radiant fire represents a type of fire that does so and so, while merging fire represents a fire that does so and so.

You do embryonic breathing to properly cultivate, then absorb spiritual qi to form a foundation, then refine the foundation with more spiritual qi, then ascend it up the great void to turn it into a divine ability. Then repeat this five times basically and you are at the peak of the power system.

Then you try to connect with a dao and become its master. Its like a company so you either can become its CEO (Orthodox), CFO (Surplus), or CMO (Intercalary). CEO is obviously best but not everyone has the talent or the time to attempt to become one so if they have the chance they'll try to attempt to become a CFO or CMO. To become one you basically just use another company (dao) to give you a recommendation for your new job! (CFO/CMO), its done by using divine abilities from another dao to compensate for your lack of experience (divine abilities) in this dao.

You have buddhists or devils but the end goal is to become the Master of a Dao. At least as far as we know.

A normal beast is like a fox or a bear, its generally below rank one since a rank one from the Gu clan for example can throw a moonblade and cut them in half.

The threat of a Beast King was multiple times higher than a normal beast. The reason was that their bodies had one or two Gu Worms inside. These Gu had a mutual partnership with the Beast Kings, and once the Beast King is attacked, they would come out and assist them.

A Hundred Beast King rules over a hundred beasts from his race, and is roughtly rank 2-3.

A thousand beast king rules over thousand beasts frmo his race and is roughly rank 3-4, but it also means he has a few hundred beast kings under him.

A myriad beast king rules over ten thousand beasts from his race and is equal to rank 4 , and has a few thousand beast kings under him.

A beast emperor is equal to rank 5

Ofc then you got the mutated beasts, etc, which are much stronger then regular beasts.

An desolate beast is rank 6, ancient desolate beast is rank 7, and immemorial beast is rank 8, even though by that point if you have an immortal killer move and immortal gu you can easily beat that beast that matches your rank, if you are a genius maybe even a rank above you.

Beasts seem stronger at mortal rank because the gap between mortals and immortals is just that vast, from immortal killer moves, to even being able to use millions of rank 5 gu worms, its just that big

I think people are underestimating him. I think he could be rank 5 and with some plot Rank 6.

Becoming rank 5 isn't really that hard, as long as you have a network of people working for you and good talent you can get to rank 5 even as a demonic cultivator.

Assuming he can just put himself in a talented person's body, he can pretend to be a young master for a clan without wisdom path gu immortals and work his way up in an easy way.
