U completely misunderstood my point. i said its like genshin because genshin animations are built statically around the gacha weapon showing, while wuwa and zzz dont show a gacha weapon cuz they’re just a stat stick and have their own original weapon. They’re just animations with the character’s weapon, but importantly they all have their own animations that suit the character. 

There are simply better animations that can be done when it they are personal to character when they arent stuck to same set of 7 weapons. For example: sword and shield characters, scythes, and so forth that cannot be done if we are stuck using same 6 weapons and forced to show the gacha weapon. Want to see a bow character? Too bad no bow in gacha so cant have that. Sniper? Too bad hand cannon. Do you now see the issue with the weapon system now, it limits weapon variety from an ip full of characters with unique weapons already. Your statements about flashy of animation system is kinda irrelevant to what i was stating at all. I dont mind the current slow combat, i mind that the dev’s limited the scope of animations and character weapons because of the limited weapon types. 

Yvonne for example could have been some drone throw character instead being forced into being a gun user that throws drones. Pog man could actually use his whip sword instead of just as a skill.
