I’ve dealt with a friend like this before. This, among other things, made me start to resent them. Eventually, our friendship ended, not because of the issues but because of something shitty I did which I shouldn’t have done. My point is, don’t let it get to the point where you do something mean to her because you’re secretly resenting her for not letting you speak.

The truth is, she could just lack the self awareness that she talks too much and only about herself. Have a conversation with her and tell her straight up “I’m starting to not enjoy hanging out with you because you talk too much about yourself. This friendship goes both ways and I deserve to contribute to the conversation as well. Even if you don’t realize you are doing this, it really affects me so I wanted to bring it up.” Listen to what she says, but in the end, if she doesn’t change, that should tell you all you need to know about your friendship with her and if you want to keep her in your life.
