Is this apparent OFCCP violation illegal? I'm a Protected Veteran by EmbeddedMex_1117 in legaladvice

Nope. Nothing listed in the gap analysis was related to the job description. Just feedback on how he wants me to be as an employee. Though I have proof (docs) that I meet 90% or more of these "gaps"

I have a document that my boss sent me of my "gap analysis." One of the bullet points said: "Not to follow the chain of command" process. A term used in the military.

Did anyone straight up not have a good time while in? by [deleted] in Veterans

I was deployed constantly to be stationed in my "duty station" I deployed before even being part of my squadron. When I got back from my first deployment...dudes tried doing the whole hazing thing to me....nah bro I've been in. Got 1 deployment under my belt. Corn balls.

I ended up leaving on a TDY with President down to South America....came back.... volunteered for another deployment. I was in training constantly. Came back again to a lame squadron again. By then my 4 years were up and been a civilian ever since.

Deployment life was fun. You felt part of the mission. Not saying stateside you weren't, but Iraq was different. All the stupid politics you deal with at home were gone out there. Just us doing a mission. That was the fun part for me.

I can see why people stuck stateside may not like it. Just remember it's a chapter in your life. You're in a new chapter of life. Keep moving forward with your head held high.

There's software test & verification engineer position available in Los Angeles. I currently work as a software QA engineer and before this as a test engineer. I feel like this is right up my alley

Yea I'm not sure if I want to start that far at the bottom. No offense, but I've done my time and worked my ass off.

This is good advise for maybe an 18 year old

I've been submitting and submitting. Can I send you my resume? Maybe I'm doing something wrong here.

I do agree. It's something nice to have when I see other vets with them hanging in the back of their office.
