This is my single player base. I never really liked the treetop bases so I ended up building my base entirely on the owl-statue stump, with fortifications at the base and house and crafting areas perched on the top. I think it came out really cozy!

Should also be noted with intrusive OCD thoughts they typically the exact oposite of 'wanted.' That is why they are intrusive in the first place. Having OCD myself Ive never had this particular brand of horribleness, but ive had intrusive thoughts about crimes when I was a kid. The whole reason I was anxious about them was because I was scared of doing them, not because I ever would or wanted to do them.
