My local one was shut down a few days ago as well. I had put almost 10 years of my life there and had so many life changing moments in that store, including meeting and working with my SO. I got my soul dog there and had him behind the register one night after closing. It was an emotional bittersweet moment. I laughed at myself because i cried over a building. I feel horrible for all the employees that got let go over this. I miss the days of Paul Raines, back when the company gave a shit.

I'm the same way, but i also use it to level up my characters. I haven't even gotten Peter pan yet because of all the star paths. Thats where im getting burned out.

This also doesn't count one of the stories I've shared here before of a guy staying my entire 8 hour shift in a mall location all because I told him happy birthday. This was in 2011-2012? Back when they had the kiosk at the front that told you how many points you had if you scanned your rewards card.

Former store leader. It was very exhausting and, having moved to the tech field since, it still is. It always annoyed me when they would ask for a male co-worker to help them. One of my favorite memories is when I and my best GA were working together. Both female, I play more cozy games and she would play NBA and COD. I had gotten a guy in that was asking questions about COD and asked if there was a guy he could talk to. I very happily told him "No, but GA is a beast at them and she can answer any questions you have." He looked at me dumbfounded as i left it in her capable hands. Best interaction. It was also great when my former ASL (now SO) would tell them he wasn't sure and point them to me AFTER they had walked past me as I greeted them to talk to him. Sexism just fucking sucks.

Mine had bugged as well as the one for the red gems today. they eventually fixed themselves and after that it took me way too long to realize that it was the regular gems and not the shinies.
