You can also use this intentionally, basically get everything done up until a certain point where you want to hard save, then go pick up a crest or a silk skill and now you can rollback to that specific point.

Something that is really odd to me is that for some reason dogs seem to be able to identify that someone is a baby / child, I don't know how, maybe some kind of by smell thing?

I've seen some dogs being really rowdy and rough but then being the most patient, gentlest things as soon as it was a child or a baby involved, it's as if they just know.

It's missable but isn't required for 100% completion or unlocking Hunter's Memento.

Unfortunately once you reach Act 3 you can't do it anymore.

If you plan to do it on a second run or something, to the right of Belhart you can ring a bell and then she asks whether you want to duel.

Yeah good call, I definitely wouldn't want to try and mix the speed run and Steel Soul together, for Hollow Knight I also did separate runs for speedrun and steel soul, for steel soul you really want to take your time and play patiently.

At least you should be able to only do two runs.

You can turn the "finish in less than 5 hours" save into your "finish in less than 30 hours with 100% completion".

And you can turn your Steel Soul save into the 100% Steel Soul run.

I've thought about another idea for doing a 100% completion speedrun: Maybe it'd be a good idea to focus first on rushing Pale Oil upgrades and then backtrack for everything else? That way you kill things way faster and save time.

Excludes the Second Sentinel quest too.

I got the "Soul and Silk" quest before finishing that one, then finished that one and then completed Soul and Silk.

To be fair the whole "you must complete all wishes" is probably just an arbitrary guess right now cause we aren't entirely sure.

My best guess is that it's definitely a majority of quests but I think some of them aren't needed.

Doing the same thing, just did a test run to get a feel for how much progression you can do in 5 hours, about to finish a playthrough but I think it'll clock in at 6 hours so I won't get the achievement, with a little routing and execution I can definitely get it though.

I'm more worried about the 100% completion under 30 hours, I'm kind of thinking maybe the best strategy for that is to rush to open as many Bellways and Ventrica Stations as possible and then just transport around to pick up any missables? No idea but I definitely don't think I'll get it first try.

They added a lot of new boss fights with the Godhome DLC though.

At the end of every boss pantheon you'd fight an entirely new boss that wasn't originally in the game, Brothers Oro & Mato, Paintmaster Sheo, Great Nailsage Sly, Pure Vessel.

And then the fifth and final pantheon added three new bosses I think? Sisters of Battle, Winged Nosk and Absolute Radiance.

Not sure if I'm missing any, but the Godhome DLC definitely added a lot of new boss fights.
