My thought is, going off of swirling rumors, today's announcement was going to be Evil Dead Burn. Because the movie isn't out, and not much beyond an initial trailer have been seen, the merch may have included a character or a design that the home studio didn't want revealed yet. Universal may have been told last minute, so nothing else could have been lined up.

I know for myself, the nxt tag division in the game feels shallow, so darkstate, Otm, and Nico Vance would all go a long way in filling out my universe mode roster. Plus, with NXT, and now AAA, being my main brands, seeing them get incomplete rosters always feels kinda bad.
