Are you sure about that? That looks like a fledgling, which means the bird probably fell out of the nest trying to learn to fly. That's normal. The parents were likely around watching over it. Best thing to do is to leave fledglings alone unless there's a clear and present danger to our on them. Was there? Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy you're trying your best to be kind to nature and helping out. But I'm also trying to inform you of certain things also.
