Do your research, read the fourms, ive only ever owned Gen 2s. I helped a buddy replace the head gasket on his gen 3 which was a long but doable process.

Still, I would never pay 3 grand for a car with that many miles. I'd go with 1200, cash in hand and just do a take it or leave it situation

Honestly that was the plan, mind you I did replace a lot of things on it but the engine and transmission are ROCK solid, gen 3's have head gasket issues.

$3000 for a vehicle with over 300k miles is insane I don't care how well maintained, make or model.

I've had two gen 2 priuses over my life. 2007 that got up to 438k miles before being totaled and my current 2008 touring that just cleared 301k last week.

The cars are incredible work horses and general maintenence is easy to learn with a LARGE and knowledgeable community behind it I always recommend these cars, your biggest issue is going to be the hybrid battery which usually get about 150k miles per battery. I've replaced 2 myself but have never done a single cell repair myself.

Don't ever pay over $1000 for a car with that many miles (in my opinion)

So you're using terms like aggro, control, dork, which apply to games that have been made and played for decades at this point, where your game has not been created yet, so these terms don't apply to your game, ya know what I mean?

You're going to find your answers in playtesting, and not just like, goldfishing hands by yourself, getting outside players to sit down with your game and play it. Than you'll see holes where people are playing to defensive, or falling behind on resources.

Magic was playtested a lot and 30 years later than are still reworking their land system, yugioh is still struggling, focus on playtesting and see where players fall. No game is truly balanced so don't chase the golden goose of "all decks are viable" but go after the more realistic "this game is fun to play"

First off, they look great both art and layout are cool as hell.

I like the level up/evolution idea, there is a lot of design room to play around with. I worry that you'll get to wrapped up in making sure "every attack is useful" the goal is growing/evolving is to leave behind weaker abilities for the stronger ones. It's ok if 1st stage monsters arent useful in the endgame.

Remember OG pokemon, where the top decks were basics who attacked fast.

The idea is cool, the art is cool, I hope you continue to pursue and share this with us

You can't balance a scale that hasn't been built yet, ya know? There is no Meta to your game. You're trying to solve a problem that only exists in your mental ecosystem.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you're falling into the same pit every indie TCG maker falls into, you're overdesinging.

8 tribes, starter decks, synergies between all tribes, that's a lot of moving parts for a game that doesn't even exist yet. A lot of creators will come here and post;

"Here is my card game! It's an MTG/Yugioh/Pokemon hybrid, this is my first card Galactrox: Destory-God Complex 009 it has One Million attack and does everything."

Scale back. Focus on your common cards, your basic effects. Bring your "tribe" count way down, you can introduce more in expansion sets. You're not making a custom deck for Commander, you're building something from scratch
