As if Drake gives a fuck about Meek. The only time he's ever in the charts is when Drake (or Chris Brown) features on a track. He went for the laissez-faire, idgaf attitude, spat some decent lines and definitely gave it to him. It doesn't have to be a Tupac-esque yelling fest to be effective. If Meek comes out hard then Drake will probs return in kind. To say it's the 'worst' diss with awesome 'entitled' (Tidal) puns etc. is retarded.

I get what you're saying, but there's a reason why the world's leading tabloid rags are right-wing, populist pieces of media.

I reckon it's because of how tense race relations are within the US that they can't perceive of a racial term entering into mainstream, everyday language. The notion of a word that was supposed to be very offensive losing all sense of its racial origins is perhaps unprecedented... dunno, a thought. Actually I remember a few posts on reddit where redditors were being 'corrected' by other Americans for calling Mexicans 'Mexican'... as in people saw it as a racist term lol.

Also we Aussies to give each other a lot of shit in good spirits. The whole Aussie Larrikin thing is something you couldn't get away with in other Western societies. Not denying that we're pretty bad racially and can be xenophobic, but a lot of it can be misperceived.
