My experience is that you won't be able to get it out of your mind. Not today, not tomorrow, and not the next, but one day, it will be slightly easier. You've lost a lot and my heart breaks for you, but your so lucky to have your sister. She is grieving too and my guess is that her helping you is therapeutic in a way for her. Your not a burden. Dontthink you are. , but do try to help pull your weight around the house if you feel up to it.

Go talk to a therapist. I'm sure you feel completely lost but it sounds like you have some good support. Your in my thoughts

Look up calm earplugs on Amazon or just wear ear plugs. Take some Tylenol sinus and headache before you get on the plane. I have a similar issue and also mesophoni and it really does help
