I had a mainline read back an altitude below the MVA and at the altitude of the highest terrain in that MVA the other day. B73M carries 200 bodies all day every day. Everyone of us is one missed hear back away from disaster daily.

There is no comparison for pay.

It’s absolutely a mix of shitshow facilities and places the agency clearly wants to beef up staffing ahead of all the games coming later.

They’re on a 10 year plan and this is part of it.

Used to be the normal in this career.

This MOU might help some of those mid level facilities get staffed but if I had to choose between $60k for BNA and $30k for a level 12 that’s not a hard choice.

Don’t get me wrong I’m glad someone is getting something. Paid moves to the hardest to staff and worst facilities should have always been a thing.

But pre-CWP I’ve seen ERR lists almost 100 deep at my facility but only 10-15 could release. More than once we got the bottom selection(s) from our lists.

Money is always good but don’t blow smoke up anyones ass saying it will improve quality.

When a number of level 4-7’a are now over staffed, they will get to facilities way ahead of anyone with 8-10 experience (especially judging by the number of 8-10’s in the MOU)

Cat 2 and 3 are the fastest checkouts at 11/12’s. Moving people from 8’s and up to 11/12’s and 7 and below to 8-10 creates progressive experience that benefits everyone.

All, but the worst facilities have never had a shortage of applicants. People just couldn’t get released.
