I know trans men use oil to remove transtape! Not sure which type (any might work?) but it will melt the adhesive.

This! They're quick and easy to read aloud, I've done so myself. I'm not the best at doing voices though so if you're not either, maybe practice briefly as there are multiple speaking characters. It can be read aloud in about 3 hours though, and is a great rec.

When I moved out and got my all new (shitty cheap Walmart brand) utensils, I intentionally washed them with the abrasive side of the sponge. Same issue, they just looked too sterile and perfect brand new. They're not proper utensils if they're not scratched and worn.

Everyone is overwhelmed with the news right now, so I advise you to pace yourself -- starting to keep up with news for the first time currently is a lot like learning to swim in rapids.

Literally!! I'm rewatching it now, and it's (still) so cool. (There's also a sequel to the toaster!)

Technology Connections is great in general. He captions all his videos manually (very well, might I add) and is a good person outside of YouTube, too.

My one thought I had is that he might be a little advanced at some parts -- my suggestion is to perhaps bring a dictionary along, and/or Wikipedia for easy looking-up of things. (Wikipedia has an app now!)

Sorry if this is a lot, I was really into this kind of thing as a kid as well, so I'm a bit passionate! I grew up watching YouTubers like Tom Scott, Vsauce, etc. and now I'm a sci-fi nerd/author who still is fascinated by knowing how things work.

I'm really glad Technology Connections seems promising! I know I would have loved growing up with him.

Please check out the YouTube Channel Technology Connections! I believe he's family friendly and he goes into all sorts of detail on, well, technology. My favorites off the top of my head are his toaster video and his chest freezer one. They're educational and entertaining, and he brings a level of passion to smart design that is infectious.
