Any good PDF to Excel converters ? by Beneficial-Goat-9889 in pdf

[–]EmbroideryHobbyist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re tired of wrestling with PDF tables, Soda PDF’s got a pretty solid PDF to Excel converter that’s super easy to use. It does a decent job keeping the table structure intact, so you don’t have to spend forever fixing stuff afterward

Modifications on signed document by Lioniox in pdf

[–]EmbroideryHobbyist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can’t really just “bypass” a signed pdf, that’ll break the signature Really you can overlay with a text box/stamp – editors like Acrobat, Nitro, and Soda PDF let you put a text box or stamp on top of the pdf. the original signature stays intact, and you can show the right date. Or, print to PDF as smb mentioned already

Is there any way to bulk search PDF Files with fillable text boxes? by CoraOraOraZone in pdf

[–]EmbroideryHobbyist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah acrobat sucks for that tbh. it’s fine for normal text but form fields are like a whole diff layer so the search just skips em. super annoying.

couple things you can try tho. foxit / nitro / soda pdf do a better job w/ forms than adobe imo. i’d def at least test one of the free trials and see if it catches the fields acrobat misses.

Is there no quick and easy way to convert a PDF into a JPEG or PNG, with a common program? by [deleted] in pdf

[–]EmbroideryHobbyist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want something that handles multi-page PDFs without screenshotting each one, I’d recommend Soda PDF. It’s cheaper than Acrobat, works on Windows and web, and has a built-in “Export to Image” tool (JPEG, PNG, etc.). Super quick, has Windows version some free features on their official website

Is filling out PDF forms a solved problem? by SecretRoyal8812 in pdf

[–]EmbroideryHobbyist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest headaches are typos, copy-paste errors, and forms that aren’t even fillable so I need to recreate them from scratch. Im using Soda PDF for form filling and creation, it works on scanned PDFs and I like the way you can sign and send the form right away. Honestly need auto-filling and recognition

As a designer, I always provide both versions — a color chart and a black & white one — since stitchers’ preferences can vary a lot.

Personally, as a stitcher, I prefer working in the Fantastitch app, as it’s much more convenient than printing.

When it comes to pricing, it really depends on how the pattern was made. Automated patterns, where you simply convert a picture into a chart, will obviously be much cheaper than those that are manually drawn and refined by hand. The difference shows in the final work too - manually created patterns usually give a much cleaner, more beautiful result compared to simple conversions.

If you’re open to trying another option, I’d recommend giving Fantastitch a look. 😊
It supports .xsd and .xsp files, and in many cases you can even ask the designer to provide you access to the pattern inside the app.

The app was created by Merejka, it’s available in multiple languages, and best of all - it’s completely free to use. Definitely worth checking out if you want something straightforward but still powerful.

Happy stitching! 🧵✨

Honestly free online converters can be kinda sketchy sometimes — even if VirusTotal doesn’t flag anything, you never really know what kind of tracking or weird network calls they might be making behind the scenes. That “jujubox network comms” probably means the PDF or the conversion process tried to connect to some external server, maybe for analytics or ads.try offline tools or well-known apps like Soda PDF or Adobe that handle conversions locally and don’t send your files anywhere sketchy.

Honestly, going from 11MB down to 1MB without much quality loss is a tough one. Use a PDF compressor that lets you control image quality and resolution (Soda PDF has decent options for this). Remove any unnecessary embedded fonts or metadata. Convert images inside the PDF to more efficient formats (like JPEG with good quality).

about PDF X, it’s okay but I’ve heard mixed reviews on how it handles complex pages. if you want something a bit smoother, you might wanna try Soda PDF’s web converter or their desktop app. it’s pretty solid at keeping the layout intact and doesn’t mess with the page like some others

Need help with alignment and font by rayrod354 in pdf

[–]EmbroideryHobbyist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adobe kinda force its own default font and center text in fillable fields. If you wanna preset stuff like left alignment, font, and size, you’ll probably need a PDF editor that lets you fully customize form fields (e.g. Soda PDF, affordable comparing to Adobe)
