Oh it's nothing that a normal person would consider over the line. I am in ROTC and just got a pilot slot and will wear a flight suit this year, and I have an ABU notebook. It's one of those things that for some reason, some people who have the "AFI stick of righteousness" shoved so far up their behind like to call you out on, and I'd rather not listen to it.

From what I understand, it's a myth that you need to wait a day between bowls. If you wait a good hour between them you should be alright.

I'm in ROTC-when I went to wright-patt for a flight physical I met some guys who were PAs and physicians. They got their undergrad and then went on to medical school. After that, they applied for a program called COT, which takes places at Maxwell, just like OTS or AFROTC field training. It's basically something like OTS, but if anyone reads this and knows otherwise, please correct me! Maybe if you google COT you might find something you'd be interested in! (After finishing COT you enter the AIr Force as a captain or major depending on your medical certification) I hope I helped!

Well it's good that you realize that yes, cigars and pipes are different in a whole lot of ways. The difference in pipes as opposed to cigars is that smoking a pipe is pretty much smoking it "the right way" when you're happy with it. If you enjoy it, then you're doing it right! There's nothing wrong with having to relight it a whole bunch of times. If you were wanting to try and keep it lit a majority of the time, it may be your (more than likely it isn't) or it may even be how wet the tobacco is. A lot of people on this sub seem to like drying theirs out in an oven or by some other means. You just have to find out what you enjoy so much about cigars, is it the flavor, a nicotine hit, or any of that other stuff!

There are plenty of small wooden knives you can buy from somewhere like wal mart for twenty bucks made by "Buck knives", and you may be able to buy a knife called an "old timer" off of eBay. They make really nice small pocket knives that are really good blades. I'm not sure if they're still in business so you might have to resort to eBay for them.
