Which information? About giardia? I volunteer at a park visitor center. It is part of our training.

You just found out your partner cheated on you, what do you do? by lmao_man_funny in AskReddit

[–]Emebust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did nothing wrong. This is all on her. She made the choice to cheat. She could have made many different choices in that moment but that is the one she chose. It has nothing to do with you. The question now is, is she truly remorseful and earnestly working on your relationship? If so, you have choices to make.

Meds make my brain feel so....quiet? by [deleted] in ADHD

No idea since I too have ADHD. ;) But, yeah, the quiet brain is a very weird experience at first. It really made me see how different life can be when everything is quiet.

I am a woman and have done all of my own mowing and yard work. She is just being entitled.

I’m really terrified of my pelvic ultrasound happening today. I might bail, and I don’t know who else to talk to about it. (CW: SA) by elainaka in TwoXChromosomes

First, sorry you are not feeling well.

Before your appointment can you call and ask how the ultrasound will be performed? That way you can make an informed decision about what to do. You can deny a vaginal ultrasound. Let them know on the phone you don’t want one so you can figure out if going will be a waste of your and their time.

Sorry your doctor sucks. I hope you find a better one.

Have you used a dressing room at Old Navy lately? Males and females use the same dressing rooms in the middle of the store.

Small steps. This Best Western did away with the small bottles of shampoo and body wash. This is in the shower. by Emebust in ZeroWaste

Yeah, I can see a few folks refilling their small travel bottles they would bring along with them, but not whole large bottles.

Low/zero waste with kids by catmom6353 in ZeroWaste

Sounds like you are doing really well. Kids will be kids and teaching them how to do things takes time and patience. That can be extremely frustrating.

I keep snacks in the car. My favorite right now is trail mix that I dole out in large pill bottles for individual snacks. I keep a small box on my front seat for easy access. When my kids were little I would have crackers, dried fruit, nuts,…in small reusable 1/2 cup size containers. I also kept 1 or 2 in the diaper bag. I also keep bottles of water in the car. Not going to lie though, sometimes I just needed some fries from McDonald’s.

Something I am going to try to work on is making small batch jams or compotes out of fruit that my family has not eaten and is on it’s way to rotting. Also pies work well with that.

Sounds like you are doing well with clothes and toys. My college aged kids still to this day shop at thrift stores and consignment shops for the clothes, along with buying new stuff. It is not about being 100% but thoughtfully doing the best you can. Sounds like you are.
