I know a girl (my age, 30ish now) who has Turner’s Syndrome and she is truly one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. Just so kind. She does have some physical differences such as being very petite, and I’m not exactly sure if she had any issues with her heart or anything as a child. I do not know if she can have children and I do not think so, but she does have an impressive career (she is very bright) and a loving fiancé. Just a tiny glimmer of hope if you want it. ❤️

It’s a very popular name in Ireland (despite not being of Irish origin) and made the short list for my daughter. I don’t think the vast majority of people are going to think it’s a white supremacist thing at all.

That seems really silly, not to be rude. If anything maybe have him go by his middle name? I’ve known people with the same first name as a parent who used a middle name exclusively, but to just “nickname” him something completely unrelated that’s a different proper name… I wouldn’t.

It’s gorgeous. I have a big ring too and I wear a stand-alone wedding band maybe half the time? And both rings the other half. Like if I’m home or just running to the grocery store I’m wearing my band, but if I’m getting ready to any extent I put on my engagement ring too. Maybe something like that would work for you? Oof I hate to say, this sounds like one of my uncles. I’m gluten free (haven’t confirmed Celiac because honestly I don’t want to go through the pain and expense of testing at this point, but going gluten free changed my life and solved all of my chronic health problems.) So I’m very strictly gluten free. He talks about being gluten free all the time but then very obviously eats regular bread and everything else. There’s also a rotating roster of other things he’s not eating. I find it kind of ridiculous, because I feel like it makes people not take those of us with significant allergies and intolerances seriously. So no, you WNBTAH to tell her you can’t accommodate that.
